These matrix puzzles were created by 3rd graders. It involves deductive reasoning and really makes you think. You could use them with your students and then extend this lesson to have students create similar problems. puzzles

Maria, I can tell that no matter what age a student is, they always love a great puzzle! While teaching middle school I realized their still kids and love the opportunity to solve a challenging puzzle. My husband teaches high school and it's the same, a puzzle works wonders he says!
It is amazing what students are capable of doing. These kids have talent that needs to be taken to the next level. We need to teach them how to use technology resources to allow them to explore new horizons. Excellent contribution Maria.
